![]() Honestly just play who is more fun, they all have their strengths. I'll say she'll be way stronger once the defensive items get released (if they do).Īt some point with every character though we all go from like 1700 hp to 0 in one hit and react with an "oh, ok then". Massive burst but takes damage, and hard. Only downside with him is that infusion stacks go to turrets if they kill a mob, and he struggles to get infusion stacks because of this.Īrtificer - Only played this one solo. The turrets butcher bosses and mobs alike. Probably the strongest for most people.Įngineer - Honestly i think he is the best if played correctly. MulT - Gattling gun op + a crit bug with the crit giving active (cant think of the name) and 2 active items. With the right build she ends up really strong though. The huntress : While decent with her w i find her dps reduction is not justified in RoR2 becasue the auto lock system is kinda meh, and you cant sprint left, right or towards the character. It can be tough making it through the early game at times though. Mercenary - while weak at first, scales really well into late game with heaps of dashing in and out - but he just fits how i play. I have a bit of a different play style than most of my mates. Artificer may be hard to play and fragile in solo, but I'll be interested to see how he plays out in a coordinated stack or even paired with an engineer or something that can draw aggro. I also feel that separate tier lists need to be created for co-op. Sure, you can pop some floaty fire balls while running around collecting loot for a little bit of essentially passive income, but sprinting while firing doesn't really compensate for huntress's abysmal DPS in my eyes. I've also never had any trouble kiting with any character (although I haven't played engineer yet), so I don't see the appeal of sprinting while firing. ![]() However, if you can land your shots with commando, his DPS is far better, plus he has a great stun for interrupting yellow bar enemy's attacks, essentially the same mobility skill, and his piercing shot is a workable CC skill (line them up). Sure, huntress is super easy to play because she has a decent mobility, decent small CC, and super easy to use primary and secondary fires (both autoaim). Generally, DPS falls into the following ranking:Īimed projectiles > Aimed hitscan > heatseeking/autoaim > AOE > debuffsĪnd commando and huntress fit into this perfectly. Commando's DPS is far better than huntress, for obvious reasons. Having played both, I would argue that commando is better than huntress for the majority of players. I also prefer to keep my distance, circle, kite, sometimes peek-a-boom, so mercenary doesn't fit my personal playstyle at all. ![]() He may be good, but I'm not good with him. There also isn't a whole lot to be done about anything that floats above your head, so I always end up taking a lot of fire and not being able to kill stuff fast enough. The damage is not nearly high enough to kill bosses while kiting enemies around. ![]()
